The Locked Room COVID-19 Policy
Policy Update: July 1st, 2022
All of our Locked Room locations are fully open.
The Restrictions Exemption Program and The City of Calgary mask bylaw have both ended. A reminder that provincial health isolation recommendations remain in effect for anyone who is exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 as well as for anyone who has recently tested positive. Please email us at: bookings@thelockedroom.ca if you require a change in your booking.
At this time, we ask that guests do not bring food or beverages into Locked Room facilities during their visits.
Abuse towards staff or other guests will not be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse service.

The Locked Room COVID-19 Policy
Policy Update: November 15th, 2021
All of our Locked Room locations are fully open
We will be following the Restrictions Exemption Program as explained on the Alberta state of emergency covid-19 website
As such, all of our guests over the age of 11 will be required to produce ONE of the following to enter any Locked Room location:
1. Proof of Double Vaccination: with your second vaccination dated at least two weeks prior to the day of your booking.
Digital or paper copies of your covid-19 immunization records are both acceptable. Those who were vaccinated in Alberta MUST provide a QR code copy of their vaccination record. You will need your Alberta health care number to download a copy here: alberta.ca/CovidRecords
*Important* If over the age of 18 a government issued ID will be required to verify the proof.
2. A privately paid for negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of your booking time.
The government provides a list of acceptable vendors for testing here: https://www.alberta.ca/assets/documents/covid-19-rapid-testing-third-party-health-service-vendors-businesses.pdf. A paper copy is required for the covid-19 test result, digital copies will not be accepted.
3. Medical exemptions for vaccinations
If you have a medical exemption for a vaccination please bring the original copy of your medical exemption letter to the Locked Room on the day of your event.
A medical exemption should include the following:
• Name, phone number, contact information, professional registration number, and signature of the physician or nurse practitioner;
• Statement that there is a medical reason for the individual’s exemption from being fully vaccinated against COVID-19; and
• The duration that the exemption is valid.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I lost my immunization papers, where can I find a copy?
A: You can get a QR code copy at https://covidrecords.alberta.ca/home. You will require your Alberta Health number and know the date of at least one of your two vaccinations.
Q: What do you need for proof of double vaccination?
A: As of November 15th, businesses are required to ask those who were vaccinated in Alberta for the QR code copy as other forms will no longer be accepted.
Q: What if I wasn’t vaccinated in Alberta?
A: Digital or paper copies are both acceptable for those who were vaccinated out of province.
Q: Is a screenshot of the immunization record okay?
A: Yes a screenshot will be accepted.
Q: Is a screenshot of the COVID-19 test okay?
A: No, please bring the original or printed paper copy. Screenshots of Covid-19 tests will not be accepted.
Q: I have a medical exemption, what should I do?
A: Please bring your original paper medical exemption letter at the time of the booking.
Q: Where can I get a covid-19 test, can I get a free one at AHS?
A: No, only a privately paid test will be accepted. The government has provided a list of 3rd party vendors.

Q: Do I need a piece of ID?
A: Yes, if you are over the age of 18 please bring a piece of ID so that we can see your ID matches your immunization record.
Q: Is it okay to bring some cupcakes / coffees / water bottles / etc. with us into the room, or for before the game begins?
A: No. We ask that customers refrain from bringing food or drink to The Locked Room while the City of Calgary Mask Mandate is in effect.
